The Bulgarian branch chamber “Roads” is organizing a national protest today in front of the National Assembly building.

The protesters will demand that the accrued payables to the road branch be paid out, the current road maintenance commissions be resumed, and a national plan and programme for the development of the national road network approved.

Representatives of the chamber say that they have called for a solution to the problems in the road sector multiple times, but that so far the various state institutions have only been shifting the responsibility.
