Pyotr Nesterov reaches singles and doubles quarterfinals at US Open Junior Tennis Championships

Pyotr Nesterov has reached the quarterfinals of the US Open Junior Tennis Championships in New York. At the round of sixteen the 18-year old player of Cherno More Elit tennis club defeated 7:6(6); 6:4 Jakub Mensik of Czehia. On September 9 the young Bulgarian athlete will play against the number 11 seed Sascha Gueymard Wayenburg (France).

Nesterov and his doubles partner Vyacheslav Bielinski (Ukraine) defeated 6:3; 7:6 (4) Vilus Gaubas (Lithuania) and Daniel Merida Aguilar (Spain). At the quarterfinal Nesterov and Bielinski will play versus Mans Dahlberg (Sweden) and Lui Maxted (Great Britain).
