Weather forecast for Thursday, 9 September

Cloudy with low temperatures for September

On Thursday there will be scattered to significant clouds. Showers are in the forecast, predominantly in Southern Bulgaria, and heavy rain in some mountain regions. Temperatures will continue low for the beginning of September, reaching a maximum of 20° to 25° C., for Sofia 20° C.

Over the Black Sea coast, along the Southern portion of the coastline, there will be showers and wind. The maximum air temperatures23°-24° C. will be the same as the temperature of the seawater. Sea state 3-4.

Over the mountains there will be rain, more significant in the region of Rila and the Rhodopes, in the higher parts of Rila and Pirin the rain may be mingled with snow. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m.  14°C., of 2,000 m. 7° C. In the resorts of Borovets and Pamporovo temperatures will reach 14°C.,

in Smolyan 18°C.

On Friday the clouds will begin to disperse from the North. Over the weekend there will be sun in many regions of the country. Temperatures will rise slightly reaching 23°- 28° C.
