Number of new daily Covid-19 infections rises to 677

677 is the number of newly registered coronavirus cases out of 12,534 tests performed in the country over the past 24 hours, up by 189 new infections compared to the previous day, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. The positivity rate is 5.4%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. The number of active cases as of 7 September is 34,507. 

4,284 Covid-19 patients are being treated in hospital, 339 of them in intensive care. 34 have died in the past day, 526 have recovered.

Due to the fact that yesterday was Unification Day the number of vaccines administered on Monday was lower – 1,654, in 9 regions of the country not a single dose was administered. 1,200,713 is the number of people in the country who are now fully vaccinated.
