Vaccination against Covid-19 must be mandatory for teachers, doctors and all healthcare workers, firefighters, transport workers and those working with large groups of people, immunologist Bogdan Petrunov from the Bulgarian Academy of Science said for bTV. “If we go on like this, we will struggle for months and years”, noted Bogdan Petrunov.

Bulgaria ranks last in the European Union in terms of people vaccinated, as only 16% of its population has received Covid-19 jabs. The evolution of the virus will be an endless process and immunization is the only weapon that can help us in the battle against the coronavirus, Academician Petrunov said further.
