The price of natural gas goes up by 20.5% as of September 1, Bulgaria’s Energy and Water Regulatory Commission announced. Thus, the natural gas will cost EUR 35.50 per MhW excluding taxes and fees, informed the reporter of the Bulgarian National Radio Yuliana Kornazheva.

The Executive Director of Bulgargaz Nikolay Pavlov explained the reasons for the latest increase. “In 2021 the price of natural gas has been increasing in Europe and globally and Bulgaria can’t remain unaffected by these processes”, said Nikolay Pavlov.
