Employees and owners of restaurants, pubs and nightclubs from the coastal city of Varna protested today against the measures proposed by this country’s Chief State Health Inspector Dr. Angel Kunchev against the spread of Covid-19. The street procession blocked the city center for about an hour, reported BTA. According to the protesters, the economic measures in support of the sector must precede the introduction of new anti-epidemic measures.

Many protesters said they were afraid to get a Covid-19 vaccine.

In their words, very few people from this industry received financial assistance for businesses shut down by the coronavirus epidemic.
