Weather forecast for Sunday, 30 August

Moderate temperatures and occasional rain

During the night there will be considerable clouds over most of the country. There will be rain in Central Bulgaria and, in places, in Eastern Bulgaria. There will be a moderate West-Northwesterly wind, with cooler air will continuing to rush in.

Tomorrow the weather over the Western half of the country will be predominantly sunny. Over Eastern Bulgaria there will be less cloud, in the afternoon – cumulus and cumulus-rain clouds will gather in the Southeastern regions. Maximum temperatures 23°-28° C.

Over the Black Sea coast there will be considerable clouds in the morning, with occasional rain over the Northern portion of the coastline. In the afternoon the rain there will stop, the clouds will disperse and there will be sun. Maximum temperatures 27°-29° C., temperature of the sea water 26° C., sea state 3.  

Over the mountains there will be scattered clouds, cumulus and cumulus-rain clouds in the afternoon, mostly over the Rhodopes, where thunder and rain are in the forecast. Temperatures will drop, reaching a maximum at an altitude of 1,200 m. 18° C, above 2,000 m – around 12° C.
