Weather forecast for Sunday, August 29

In the next 24 hours there will be scattered clouds above most parts of Bulgaria. Showers are expected mainly in Western and Central Bulgaria. Heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon and the evening hours. Morning mists are in the forecast for some places in eastern Bulgaria. During the day the weather in these regions will be sunny with low chance of precipitation. Northwesterly winds will gradually bring cooler air in Bulgaria on Sunday. The maximum temperatures will range from 23° in Northwestern Bulgaria to 33°C in the southeastern parts of the country.

Along the Black Sea coast the weather will be sunny. Mists are expected in some coastal areas in the morning hours. Maximum temperatures 27°-30°C, the temperature of the sea water 25°-26° C, sea state - 3.

Over the mountains the weather will be predominantly sunny before noon. Clouds will form over the mountain regions at noon and in the afternoon hours. Showers and thunderstorms are also expected. Daytime temperatures will drop. The maximum temperatures at an altitude of 1,200 m. will be around 21° C, at 2,000 m. – around 14° C.
