Bulgaria’s authorities are to introduce nationwide measures if the average morbidity rate in the cities reaches 300 Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people, this country’s Chief State Health Inspector Dr. Angel Kunchev said in an interview for Nova TV.
“We have two weapons against Covid-19 - vaccination and compliance with the anti-epidemic measures. If we can’t reach the desired vaccination rates, then we should take care of our own health”, added Dr. Kunchev. In his words, the situation in Veliko Tarnovo, Targovishte and Ruse districts is serious. That is why health experts from these Bulgarian regions will discuss new anti-epidemic measures. According to Bulgaria’s Chief State Health Inspector, the society is not ready to accept the reality.
