Weather forecast for Thursday, August 26

The cold weather front will reach Eastern Bulgaria in the next 24 hours. Cumulonimbus clouds will form over the country. Occasional showers and thunderstorms are expected in the northwestern regions on Wednesday night. Significant precipitation is expected in some areas in the central Danubean Plain.

On Thursday, the southern and eastern parts of the country are expected to see some rain showers. Rain is also expected in Southeastern Bulgaria in the afternoon and the evening hours. Daytime temperatures will drop and the maximum temperatures will range from 26°C to 31°C.

It will be cloudy along the Black Sea coast. Heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are in the forecast for some coastal areas. Maximum temperatures will range between 26°C and 28°C. The seawater temperature is around 26°C. Sea state 1-2.

Occasional showers are expected In the Bulgarian mountains. Heavy rain, thunderstorms and hailstorms are possible in some mountain regions. The maximum temperatures at 1,200 meters will be around 20°C, at 2,000 meters-13°C.
