Professor of constitutional law Ekaterina Mihaylova, stated, in an interview for BNT, that if the MPs do not vote a date for the presidential election soon a constitutional crisis will set in.
In her words the logic of the constitution is that presidential and parliamentary elections should not take place at the same time, as the two institutions have been created with a different duration.
