After a one-year Covid break, the Vidin Craft Festival is once again a reality. This year's event is held in the period August 20 to 28th and is traditionally located in the former military building next to the Baba Vida Fortress.

More than 120 traders, craftsmen and producers present their products every day and the program also includes open-air music concerts every night. Entrance is free and this year the organizers focus on the participation of many performers from Bulgaria’s neighbors Serbia and Romania.

For the first time, music contest between brass bands from Bulgaria and Serbia will be organized. There will also be an accompanying program, which includes “The Danube” Ensemble, the City Brass Band and amateur ensembles from the region. The Vidin Festival was organized for the first time more than a century ago.
