Weather forecast

On Wednesday and Thursday a cold front will pass across the country. There will be cumulus rain clouds and rain and thunderstorms in places in the Northwest and Southeast. Intensive rain and hail is in the forecast locally in the regions of Rila and the Rhodopes and in Northeastern Bulgaria. In the Eastern parts the weather on Wednesday will continue hot and, for most of the day, sunny. 

On Thursday the clouds will scatter from the Northwest. The wind will gradually turn from the North-Northeast, temperatures will drop nationwide, with daytime highs reaching 27° - 32° C.

On Friday and Saturday the weather will be predominantly sunny and temperatures will be close to the average for the last 10 days of August.
