1,301 new daily coronavirus infections, hospitalizations up by 110

1,301 is the number of new Covid-19 cases registered in the country out of 29,690 tests performed in the past 24 hours, a daily positivity rate of 4.4%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show.

The highest number of new infections is again in Sofia - 270, in Plovdiv – 182 and in Veliko Turnovo - 88.

1,658 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospital, 145 of them in intensive care. 32 people have died, 246 have recovered. The number of active cases is 15,757.

9,143 doses of vaccine were administered in the past day, bringing the total number of vaccinations up to over 2.1 million. 1,079,266 is the number of people in the country who are now fully vaccinated.
