Four places to park you campervan in Burgas

The Black Sea city of Burgas now has 4 camperstops, announced the local municipality. The new camperstops have electricity, water and Internet. Moreover, tourists are welcome with their pets. The camperstops provide access for people with disabilities and offer picturesque views. In addition, there are a number of catering establishments nearby.

The 4 new camperstops in Burgas are listed below:

Camperstop boat shelter “Chengene Skele”

It is located in close proximity to the restored fishing village “Chengene Skele”. Visitors can see all types of fishing gear, watch how fishing nets are made, or rent a boat to the nearby St. Anastasia Island. The complex is open all year round and is equipped with a café-club, a restaurant, a park and a playground. There is water and electricity in the area. The place offers cleaning of portable chemical toilets. The camperstop has the capacity to shelter 10 campervans.


Camperstop boat shelter “Kraimorie”

It is located on the territory of the protected boat shelter “Kraimorie” in Kraimorie residential neighborhood. It is in close proximity to the beach and only 5 minutes walking distance from the center of the residential neighborhood. The camperstop is open on a year-round basis. There is water and electricity in the area. The place offers cleaning of portable chemical toilets. The camper stop area has the capacity to shelter 5 campervans. 

Camperstop fishing port “Sarafovo”

The camperstop is located on the territory of “Sarafovo” fishing port. It is only 5 minutes walking distance from the city center and the beach. A bike station was built on the territory of the fishing port, where people can rent a bicycle. A cycle path connects the fishing port with the city center. The complex operates on a year-round basis. The place has water and electricity. It offers cleaning of portable chemical toilets and has a capacity to shelter 8 campervans.


Camperstop “Sports Center Vetren - Vetren Residential Neighborhood”

It is located 15 kilometers away from Burgas on the territory of “Vetren” Sports Center, which has a swimming pool, an indoor football pitch and a hotel. There is a grocery store only several meters away from the camperstop. The complex is open on a year-round basis and offers 10 separate camper spaces. The tourist complex Aquae Calidae is located nearby. There, the guests of Burgas can visit the fully renovated bathroom of Suleiman the Magnificent and see archaeological finds dating back to different periods.

This summer Bulgaria’s coastal campsites offer a camper place or a caravan place for EUR 17- 27 per day. Campervans can be rented for EUR 50 to EUR 150 a day, depending on their condition and the extras they offer.
