Weather forecast for Bulgaria on Saturday, 7 August

Code green for tolerably high temperatures throughout the country

On Saturday the weather over Bulgaria will be sunny. There will be a light northwesterly wind, in Eastern Bulgaria – a moderate northerly wind. Maximum temperatures 28° - 33° C., in the southwesternmost regions – up to 35° C., for Sofia - 31° C.

Along the Black Sea coastline there will be considerable clouds in the morning, but by noon the clouds will break and there will be sun. Maximum temperatures 28° C. at Cape Shabla in the North and 27° C. in Ahtopol in the South, up to 29° C. in the region of Burgas. Temperature of the seawater 26°-28° C., sea state – up to 3.

In the mountains the weather will be sunny and suitable for tourism. Maximum temperatures above an altitude of 1,200 m. - 27° C., above 2,000 m. - around 18° C. In the resorts of Borovets and Pamporovo daytime highs will reach 23° C., in Bansko - 27° C.

On Sunday and the first work days the weather will be sunny. Temperatures will start to climb and on Monday will hit a maximum of between 34° and 39° C.
