3 days of additional paid leave for teachers vaccinated against Covid-19

Teachers in Sofia who are vaccinated against Covid-19 can receive an additional paid annual leave of three days upon request, CITUB announced. This is planned in an annex to the collective labour agreement signed between the unions, the mayor of the capital Yordanka Fandakova, the Association of Directors in Secondary Education and the Union of Employers in the Public Education System.
The annex provides for the additional leave to be used both during vaccination and thereafter, if a vaccine has already been given by the time of its conclusion.
CITUB adds that currently about 40 percent of persons employed in Bulgaria's education system have been vaccinated.
