Cabinet extends extraordinary epidemic situation to August 31st

The extraordinary epidemic situation should be extended until August 31 this year, the Council of Ministers has decided.

According to the World Health Organization, this country currently ranks seventh when it comes to Covid-19 mortality. Just over 18% of Bulgarians have been immunized with the first dose of the vaccine and a bit over 16 percent have completed the course of vaccination. This places Bulgaria last in terms of the number of vaccinated among the EU countries.
