By order of the Minister of Health, as of 26 July, foreign nationals from four more countries – the Netherlands, Malta, Andorra and Georgia - will not be allowed to enter Bulgaria. Bulgarians arriving from these countries, permanent residents and members of their families will only be allowed on Bulgarian territory if they present a negative coronavirus test, whether they are vaccinated or not.

The Ministry of Health announced that tourists from the Netherlands will be allowed to enter the country with a PCR test. For the charter flights on Monday, 26 July, 2021, the tourists from the Netherlands will be able to enter the territory of Bulgaria with an antigen test as well, the Health Ministry says. Holidaymakers  from the Netherlands were among the first tourists to have started coming to the country in mid-June. There are now about 10 charter flights a week, as well as regular daily flights from Amsterdam to Sofia.
