What demands the MPs submitted on the first day of the new 46th National Assembly

On the first work day of the 46th National Assembly the first bills and applications were submitted to the parliament registry.

BSP for Bulgaria submitted a bill concerning senior citizens - for guaranteeing that they have access to health services, social support and for an active life for the elderly. Regarding the young BSP for Bulgaria is proposing assistance amounting to 10 minimum monthly salaries for a second and a third child.

Democratic Bulgaria submitted amendments to the Judicial System Act for guaranteeing that judges are independent of political influence.

“Stand Up BG, We Are Coming!” submitted bills for the recalculation of pensions – for attaining a balance of the pensions from different years, amendments to the Personal Assistance Act and the National Service for Protection Act. The amendments to the Personal Assistance Act would enable people with disabilities to have a personal assistant on non-work days and after 5 PM on work days. The amendments to the National Service for Protection Act are for abolishing specialized transport for former prime ministers and presidents of parliament, the mayor of Sofia and the prosecutor general.

The coalition GERB-SDS is proposing that caretaker Minister of the Interior Boyko Rashkov appear before parliament for a hearing about the illegal wiretapping of politicians and citizens.
