A work by the Bulgarian composer Rumen Boyadzhiev-Jr. has won a prestigious film music competition in a competition with over 140 works. This is the overture to the children's opera "The Ice Queen", awarded at the International Film Music Competition NGC LAB. The chairman of the jury in the music competition is the American film composer Harry Gregson-Williams – creator of music for hits such as "The Martian", "The Chronicles of Narnia" and others.
"I am very glad that he was able to hear and appreciate this work. The competition is very big, because this is not just concert classical music, but it is also a big business on a global scale," said in an interview with BNR the composer Rumen Boyadzhiev-Jr.
The official award ceremony will take place in autumn in Russia.
