Gallup: GERB leads with 0.6% in the parliamentary elections in Bulgaria

Again 6 political parties enterBulgaria's National Assembly

Results of the exit polls by Gallup polling agency, partner of the Bulgarian National Radio, show that the following distribution of votes in the parliamentary elections in this country on July 11, 2021 by 20:00 pm:

  • “GERB-SDS”: 22.1 %, or 59 seats in Parliament
  • "There is Such a People" (ITN): 21,5%, or 58 seats in Parliament
  • “BSP for Bulgaria”: 15.1%, or 41 seats in Parliament
  • "Democratic Bulgaria": 13.7%, or 37 seats in Parliament
  • "Movement for Rights and Freedoms" (MRF): 11.8%, or 32 seats in Parliament
  • "Stand up! Thugs out!”: 4,9%, or 13 seats in Parliament.


The patriotic parties, this time running in the elections under the coalition Bulgarian Patriots, do not cross the 4-percent threshold.


The results of the exit polls by 20.00 pm show that the voter turnout at the early parliamentary elections on July 11 was 37,6%.

1,6% of voters checked the "I do not support anyone" option.


A total of 23 parties and coalitions have taken part in the competition for the 240 seats in the new Bulgarian National Assembly. Parties and coalitions that manage to overcome the 4-percent threshold will enter the National Assembly.


For the first time in the history of Bulgaria, Bulgarian citizens voted entirely with machines in polling stations with more 300 voters, according to the latest amendments to the national Electoral Code adopted by the previous 45th National Assembly.
