Summer festival opens on Mount Vitosha today

Thousands of mountain and sports lovers are expected at the 7th edition of Vitosha Summer Fest.

The event opens at 11 AM today on the meadow in front of Momina Skala hut on Mount Vitosha, the mountain closest to the capital city Sofia. The sporting festival features competitions, singing and dancing, raffles and prizes.

A zipline over Boyanska River will be made available to the guests to the festival free of charge. There will also be yoga classes by experts from the Bulgarian Yoga Association, as well as trekking and mountain biking competitions and a tourist hike.
