Bulgaria’s Vice President Iliana Yotova and 40 young people from Albania, Bulgaria, Kosovo and North Macedonia discussed in Sofia topics related to Bulgaria’s development, regional cooperation, the future of Europe and the role of young people in public and political life. They are participating at the international forum "Active Youth for Prosperous Societies", organized by the Bulgarian School of Politics "Dimitry Panitza". The forum aims to promote regional cooperation between young people and develop their leadership skills.

“Bulgaria is among the biggest supporters of the European future of the Western Balkans”, Vice President Yotova pointed out and reminded that the topic regarding the European integration of the Western Balkans returned to the European agenda during the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
