According to a social survey by the Centre for Analysis and Marketing, the GERB-SDS coalition and Slavi Trifonov’s party ITN (There Is Such a People) are neck and neck for first place at the upcoming elections on 11 July, with a little under 20% of the votes.

The other parties which will enter the new parliament, according to the survey, are the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) with 15.5%, Democratic Bulgaria with 12.3%, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms with 11.4% and “Stand Up! Thugs Out” with 4.7%.

3.3 million Bulgarians are expected to vote at Sunday’s election, or as many as at the regular parliamentary elections on 4 April this year.

The survey was conducted in the period from 26 June to 1 July by the Centre for Analysis and Marketing by its own resources.
