The Recovery and Sustainability plan sent by Bulgaria to the European Commission is not final, but only updated, a European Commission spokesman told BNR's Horizon channel. Bulgaria's Deputy Prime Minister Atanas Pekanov said earlier that the plan, which was changed by the caretaker cabinet, was already in Brussels for preliminary approval.

The Association of Industrial Capital in Bulgaria also expressed concern that the money for technological modernization, digitalization and green transition is being reduced.
