Volunteers from 6 countries are assisting the Historical Museum of Kavarna, reported the Bulgarian National Television. The young people are assisting the museum in preparing the historical landmarks on Cape Kaliakra and Yaylata National Archaeological Reserve for the new tourist season. They also become tour guides and clean the sites for the forthcoming archeological excavations in August.

The young volunteers from Italy, Spain, France, Georgia, Turkey and Albania are working on the sites of the Historical Museum of Kavarna through the European Solidarity Corps. The Foundation “The Way of the Thracians” supports the two-month stay of the foreign volunteers in Bulgaria. Most of them study history or archeology.
