Hot weather expected today across Bulgaria, highs will reach 38 °C

The weather in Bulgaria today will be sunny, with west and northwest winds. Daytime highs will reach 33 °C to 38 °C.

Along the Black Sea coast the weather before noon will be sunny, with short showers in the early afternoon hours with thunderstorms and stronger winds in some parts. Highs will range between 29 °C and 32 °C. The temperature of the sea water will be at 22 °C to 24 °C with a calm sea.

In the mountains the weather will be predominantly sunny. At noon and the early afternoon hours there will be short showers with thunderstorms and moderate to strong northwestern winds. 
Daytime highs above 1,200 metres altitude will reach 28 °C, and above 2,000 metres - about 20 °C.
