Bulgaria reports less than 1% new infections in past day

The new cases of Covid-19 in Bulgaria for the last 24 hours are 86, with 14,945 tests performed. This is less than 1% of the samples taken. Two of the cases are among medical staff. The highest number of newly infected people is in Sofia-city - 21. No new cases of coronavirus have been identified in four districts - Vidin, Razgrad, Silistra and Shumen.


Currently, 1,565 people with Covid-19 are treated in hospitals, as 196 of them are in intensive care. 143 patients were reported recovered and 4 patients died.

A total of 12,289 vaccines were administered in the past day, as their total number is more than 1,721,000.  Already 783,393 people in Bulgaria have completed the vaccination cycle.
