Number of Covid-19 patients in Bulgaria goes below 10,000

Bulgaria has reported 120 new infections with coronavirus in the country for the past 24 hours. This is 0.75% of the 16,070 tests performed. Most new cases are in Sofia - 36 followed by the districts of Plovdiv with 11 and Blagoevgrad with 9. In 5 districts of Pazardzhik, Razgrad, Silistra, Targovishte and Haskovo there are no new infections.

There are currently 9,966 actively registered patients. For the first time since October 16, 2020, this indicator falls below 10,000. 

Currently, there are 1,698 patients in hospital. 200 of them are treated in intensive care units. 
10 people died in the last 24 hours with Covid-19. 370 were reported cured.
Only 8,505 doses of vaccine were administered on Monday. The number of those vaccinated with at least one dose has increased to 668,677. 

A total of 753,375 Bulgarians have already completed the immunization cycle.
