About 10,000 Russian tourists are expected to arrive to the Bulgarian Black Sea coast every summer month after Russia decided to resume charter flights to this country, Rumen Draganov, chairman of the Bulgarian Institute for Analysis and Assessment in Tourism said.

1.4 million Romanian citizens will probably also spend their holidays in Bulgaria in comparison to 980,000 people last summer. Annually, about 600,000 guests from Germany are expected in Bulgaria

The institute forecasts growth of up to 50 percent of the number of tourists who will visit Bulgaria. This means that Bulgaria could achieve about 8.8 million visits, especially if green corridors with EU countries that have vaccinated most of their population were opened.
