On election day voters will take off their masks to be identified

The Ministry of Health has issued instructions regarding the holding of the elections for National Assembly of Bulgaria on 11 July.

Due to the epidemic situation voters must wear masks throughout the entire procedure and observe a distance of at least 1.5 metres. The premises and the active points will be disinfected repeatedly. Voters must use hand sanitizer.

“For identification, voters they will show their identity cards and place them on the table. To be identified, voters will be instructed to take off their masks briefly, while observing a distance of 1.5 metres from the election commission.”

All people involved in the organization of the elections and the voting process will be offered vaccination.
