I do not see the future of NATO as a market, but as an alliance of partners who work together to develop technology, produce highly efficient military equipment and show unity, President Rumen Radev said after the NATO summit in Brussels, where leaders adopted the strategy of the Alliance until 2030.
President Radev has welcomed two of the projects included in “NATO 2030” which envisage creating a civil-military body for stimulating innovations in defense and establishing a financial fund for innovation. "Bulgaria must work actively in all directions so that our industry, science and young people can feel accomplished and benefit from NATO membership," he said.
According to President Radev, there has been no change in the Alliance's position on Russia since 2014 and the approach towards China is very careful as Beijing is a significant economic partner of NATO members.
