Bulgaria reports 100 new cases of Covid-19 out of 14,266 tests performed

100 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 14,266 tests performed, indicate data of the Single Coronavirus Information Portal. 0.7% of the tests have returned positive result. The highest number of new infections were reported in Bulgaria’s capital Sofia, followed by Varna district-10 and Blagoevgrad district-9. No new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in Kardzhali, Razgrad and Silistra.

There are 13,618 active cases of Covid-19 at present. 2,355 patients are being treated in hospital, 253 of them in intensive care units. 15 people have died and 670 have recovered in the past 24 hours.

23,777 vaccines have been administered in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of inoculations against Covid-19 to 1,548,304. 680,431 people have already received their second vaccine dose.
