The International Jazz Festival Bansko will be held between August 7 and 14, announced the Municipality of Bansko.

"Despite the drop in the local budget revenue, we are determined to make all the necessary efforts to ensure the participation of elite jazz musicians at the festival", the Municipality of Bansko wrote on its official website. The event will also pay tribute to the founder of International Jazz Festival Bansko Dr. Emil Iliev, who passed away in 2020.

The regional health inspectorate has started to administer the Moderna vaccine to hotel and restaurant staff in the Municipality of Bansko. The campaign is expected to end by June 11.
