Military police escort NATO convoys to Romania

Soldiers and military equipment from NATO's Very High Readiness Joint Task Force are moving on May19 and 20th in order to take part in the Alliance's Steadfast Defender-21 and Noble Jump-21 exercises in Romania. The organization of border and customs procedures and the support of the host country is carried out in coordination with the composition of the Joint Force Command and the NATO Force Integration Unit in Bulgaria (NFIU).

The escort and security of the military convoys on the Bulgarian road network is provided by teams of the Military Police Service. After the exercise, the participants will return to their areas of permanent deployment, the Ministry of Defense reported.
