Caretaker Interior Minister: Interior Ministry will be at the forefront of change in the country

"The interior ministry is the strongest body in the government. So, it is quite logical and normal to play a leading role in the changes that need to be made in our country and are at the request of Bulgarian citizens." This was stated in an interview with BNR's Horizon program by Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Boyko Rashkov in the caretaker cabinet.

As a priority of his work, Rashkov outlined the opposition against violations of suffrage and vote buying. If necessary, the heads of the regional directorates will be replaced. 
"This is a normal and routine job, this is not about making a purge. I am convinced that we will have to change leaders," Rashkov said.
