14 new benches made in the shape of letters will be presented on Tuesday evening in front of the National Library St. St. Cyril and Methodius in the presence of renowned Bulgarian writers, including Georgi Gospodinov. The project is named “Hidden Letters”. The benches have no graphic analogue from Roman or Greek characters. On each one of the letter-benches there are poems written for the project.

The letter-benches will remain in front of the National Library until May 21 and later they will depart to Brussels.

The “Hidden Letters” project is a brainwork of Read Sofia Foundation. It has been fulfilled since 2018. The project is known as “Bulgarian Letters” abroad.

On May 11 we commemorate the holy brothers Cyril and Methodius. St. St. Cyril and Methodius are patrons of the National Library.
