During this month the rate of vaccination in this country could double and it could quadruple next month. We have vaccines for the whole of Bulgaria and more. This is what Prof. Todor Kantardzhiev, head of the National Center for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases and a member of the National Operational Headquarters has told BNT.

"We have never said that some vaccines were bad, but there are some that have not passed European regulation yet," he said, speaking of the possibility of import of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine .

Regarding the queues at the "green" vaccination corridors, he said: "Thank God the weather is good and there is a breeze. When there is breeze, the risk of infection is very low.”
