Bulgaria reports 1,237 new cases of Covid-19 out of 16,259 tests performed

1,237 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 16,259 tests performed, indicate data of the Single Coronavirus Information Portal. 7.6% of the tests have returned positive result.

6,824 patients are being treated in hospital, 682 of them in intensive care units. 90 people have died and 2,881 people have recovered in the past 24 hours.

Almost 27,000 vaccines have been administered in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours. 207,000 people have received their second vaccine dose.
