New section of Sofia's 3rd subway lines starts operation

Today, new 4 km of Sofia's 3rd metro line will be put into operation. It current route from Hadji Dimitar district to Krasno Selo district is extended to Gorna Banya district. With the new section, the citizens who will travel by subway will reach 500,000 per day. This was announced by Sofia mayor Yordanka Fandakova.
The last, fourth, stage of the third line of the capital's subway remains to be built.
