Outgoing Prime Minister does not want behind-the-scenes talks on government

"I will not run for president!" This was what outgoing Prime Minister Boyko Borissov wrote in Facebook.

"If they let Rumen Radev fight on the political arena instead of them, we are ready to be firm opponents of such a cabinet of behind-the-scenes talks and to meet in new elections whenever they are!" If the parties that today demonstrate a huge majority in parliament did not form a government, but together ran to President Radev for a caretaker cabinet, this would be a sign of irresponsibility and fear."

"We, unlike the people behind the scenes, will hold official talks in support of the government we proposed," Borissov added.
