Bulgaria marks 115 years since the start of aviation

On today's date in the remote 1906, a decree of Bulgaria's King Ferdinand marked the beginning of Bulgarian aviation through the establishment of the Aviation Department, the Bulgarian Aviation Museum announced.
Another notable fact that the Aviation Museum brings to the attention of its visitors is that Bulgarians first flew in the sky in 1892, when the French aviator Eugene Godard performed demonstration flights during the First International Exhibition in Plovdiv
