Bulgaria's outgoing cabinet disbands National Covid-19 response Headquarters

The National Operational Headquarters for Combating Covid-19 has been disbanded as of today. This was announced by the government press service.

Bulgarian resorts to provide free beach umbrellas and sunbeds continues this summer season

The practice of providing free beach umbrellas and sunbeds established last year is good and working and will continue this year, as well. This was what outgoing Deputy Prime Minister Mariana Nikolova has told bTV.

Tourism business on the Black Sea coast has already started preparing for launching the season on May 1, observing the safety rules issued by the Ministry of Tourism.

The European Commission is expected to adopt a unified decision on the digital green certificate, which would regulate the rules for entry of foreigners, according to the minister.

Then the health authorities should define the rules according to which foreigners will be able to enter Bulgaria during the summer tourist season, Nikolova added. She pointed out that this year the industry would rely mainly on Bulgarian tourists once again.
