29th Bulgarian Antarctic Expedition ends successfully

The polar researchers from the 29th Bulgarian Antarctic Expedition have left Antarctica today and have arrived in Chile. An Uruguayan military plane took the Bulgarian polar researchers to the southernmost city in Chile-Punta Arenas. 

All planned activities have been completed successfully, Hristo Pimpirev, the leader of the Bulgarian Antarctic Expeditions told Asya Chaneva from Hristo Botev channel of the Bulgarian National Radio. The 29th Antarctic expedition prepared a site for the construction of a new laboratory building. The polar researchers also took measurement readings relevant to the state of environment, seismic and tidal events. The members of the 29th Bulgarian Antarctic Expedition are expected to return to Bulgaria on April 19.
