The prosecutor’s office has submitted new evidence connected with the Russia spying affair before the court hearings which will decide whether some of the defendants shall remain in custody.

According to unofficial information some of the evidence is connected with recordings of the defendants conspiring what to say in court. Others concern classified documents connected with the spy affair.

Five of the six people who stand accused of spying for Russia are appealing their arrest ordered by a first-instance military court. As to the sixth member of the group the prosecution is not demanding that he be remanded in custody as he has made a full confession.
