“Whereas in October and November no more than 20% of people in this country stated they wanted to get a Covid-19 vaccine, now their number has doubled with 40% saying they intend to get vaccinated,” Bogdan Kirilov, executive director of the Bulgarian Drug Agency said in an interview for bTV.

Around 250,000 doses of vaccine will arrive in the country by the end of the month, he added. Bigger batches of mRNA vaccines will be delivered in April – 250,000 doses of Pfizer/BioNTech and 80,000 of Moderna. 300,000 doses of AstraZeneca are also expected to arrive in the coiuntry.

However, Bogdan Kirilov did not say whether people would be able to choose among these vaccines.
