Dozens of reports have been received for hundreds of thousands of euros sent to the accounts of criminals, usually from North Africa, the Directorate General Combating Organized Crime reported.

He warned that scammers use stolen profile photos - most often of masculine-looking military men, doctors or UN mission staff.
