Bulgarian women enjoy the best working conditions in Europe

In Europe, Bulgaria offers the best working conditions and maternity leave for women, according to a study by British marketing company Reboot Online. Bulgaria has 236.6 points out of a possible maximum of 300 when it comes to a variety of factors that contribute to women's success in the workforce.

Bulgaria is second after Norway only in terms of women's participation in management. Croatia is in second place with good overall living and working conditions for women with 229.9 points. Estonia, Norway and Slovakia are also in the top five, followed by Slovenia, Romania and Italy. Sweden, which has been known as a welfare state with strong gender equality policy holds 10th place and is behind Latvia.
